GrubHub
CMC has partnered with GrubHub, which will allow students, faculty, and staff to order food ahead of time so they can swing by and grab their meals without delay. There are new locations across campus with outdoor seating for people who would like to hang out with friends and share meals outside as weather permits.

The GrubHub app can be downloaded here.

Will students be permitted to eat at the other 5C dining halls?
Cross-campus dining will resume this fall.

Collins Dining Hall

Collins is the College's dining hall. Three meals are served Monday through Friday, and a brunch and dinner are served on weekends.

In addition to the regular dining schedule, Collins will frequently provide food and equipment for student groups who wish to have special events outside of the dining hall.

Collins has two private dining rooms available for use during meal hours. The rooms may be reserved in advance with Shelly Fernando, EMS Coordinator.

The Hub

The Hub Grill, in the Emmett Student Center, has a variety of quick meal options. CMC students can take their meals at the Hub Monday through Friday for lunch and/or dinner. The adjacent Hub Store has a variety of drinks, snacks, and sundry items for sale. Cash and Claremont Cash are accepted.

New:  A $10 meal equivalency credit may be used by CMC students, faculty, and staff who are on a meal plan, toward any Hub meal until 9:30pm.  One credit will be accepted per meal period.

GrubHub may also be used for online ordering and will accept Meal Swipe, Board Plus, Claremont Cash and Credit Card.

The GrubHub app can be downloaded here.

Please see Bon Appetit website for menus and catering.

Meal Plan Information, Dining Options & Board Plus Dollars

The Claremont Colleges recognize that our students take classes at all the undergraduate colleges, are involved in activities across campus lines, and sometimes just want a change of environment. For this reason, the Colleges participate in a cross-dining relationship — students may enjoy a meal at any of the Colleges' dining halls. One meal will be subtracted from the weekly allotment of meals — the same as a student who eats a meal on their home campus. Accompanying each meal plan is an allotment of Board Plus dollars per semester. Each Board Plus dollar is equal to one dollar in cash and they are tracked electronically on your student ID card. The Board Plus dollars may be used in a variety of ways. Any of the "cash operations" at the undergraduate Colleges that has a card reader will accept Board Plus dollars in lieu of cash. Students may also bring a guest into the dining halls by using their Board Plus dollars. Board Plus dollars do not "roll over" to the next semester, so it is in your interest to spend them. All students living in the residence halls are required to select one of the CMC meal plans. Students living off-campus or in the Student Apartment Complex have the option of selecting a meal plan. Meal Plan changes should be made during the first week of classes each semester.

For questions about the meal plan prices, see Cost of Tuition and Fees on the Student Accounts site.

Those students who are only at CMC for half a year (i.e. those participating in off-campus study or December Graduates) will have their board plan costs split in half by Student Accounts.
